Spring is in the air and we believe it's the perfect time to buy fragrances to welcome in the new season. Since launching Olyinka we've always had fun pairing perfumes to our collections because It's just the perfect combination. Our favorite place to seek out new fragrances is the Bloom Perfumery in Covent Garden London. We spent a lovely time at this boutique perfumery and was presented with the best scents to compliment our lingerie. Our collections are inspired from the 1920's, lots of glitz and glamour, very chic, sophisticated and also very sexy so the perfumes presented were a perfect match. Our Top 5 Fragrance Recommendations:
Phul-Nana by Grossmith
We immediately fell in love with this fragrance. We were told us that this would have been the modern perfume of 1920's. Floral top notes and woody base notes, just smells divine.
Flor Y Canto by Arquiste
A close first place to Phul-Nana. Floral top notes and vanilla base notes makes a perfect lingerie fragrance. Beautiful smell.
Putain des Palaces by Etat Libre d'Orange
Consists of floral and leather notes, surprisingly a very light, feminine fragrance.
Tardes by Garner
This fragrance was quite overpowering on impact but after a few minutes produced the most pleasant blend of woody, floral and sweet smelling notes. A winning combination.
Bijou Romantique by Etat Libre d'Orange
A blend of sweet vanilla and black pepper notes makes another surprising combination. A strong but feminine, sweet fragrance.
