How to Spring Clean Your Lingerie Drawer

When was the last time you spring cleaned your lingerie drawer? If you can’t remember, then it’s probably time to do so! A good spring clean will not only get rid of any unwanted or unloved items, but it will also give you a chance to assess what underwear you have and what you need.
For many of us, our lingerie drawer is a place where we store all of our intimates – from bras and panties to nightgowns and robes. It can be easy to forget about this space, but taking the time to declutter and organize it can make a world of difference. Here are some tips on how to spring clean your lingerie drawer so that it’s both functional and stylish.
Purge & Recycle
First things first, you need to empty out your drawer completely. Yes, that means taking everything out and putting it on your bed (or the floor, whatever works). Once everything is out, you can start sorting through it. Keep anything that you love and feel good in. Get rid of anything that's damaged, doesn't fit, or that you haven't worn in ages. And don't forget to ditch anything that's uncomfortable or that you just don’t like. Also, remember to discard your lingerie sustainably, recycle if you can so that they don't end up in a landfill. Evaluate and Organise
Now that you have removed your old undies, it is time to take a look at what's left and decide how to best organise them.
So, you have selected some pieces that are still in great condition and have held up to numerous washes and wears. Here is where we sort them into piles of similar styles. By sorting similar styles together, you can easily and clearly identify what you have left and what you need to buy.
The cleanup
To perform a clean-up, wipe down the inside of the drawer with a gentle cleaning wipe. Be sure to pay special attention to the edges and corners, as these are often overlooked and can quickly become cluttered and messy. This can be done once a week, once a month, or even once every three months, it’s up to you.

Once the cleaning is completed, leave the drawer to dry and then give it a little boost with some scented liners or pouches for a delightful aroma. Another great option might be to lightly spritz with your favourite perfume.
