As we approach International Women's Day 2024, it is a time to reflect on the progress that has been made, and is still needed to achieve true equality for all women around the world. This year's campaign theme #InspireInclusion, is a call to action to understand and value women's inclusion, forging a better and more inclusive world for all.
International Women's Day is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of women in economic, political, and social spheres. It is a day to acknowledge the achievements made, the challenges women face, and to take action towards achieving gender equality. Women's rights, equal pay, access to education, and representation in leadership positions are just a few of the issues that are still being tackled globally.
This year, let's take a moment to to think about how we can inspire inclusion in our world. The #InspireInclusion campaign calls upon each of us to make a personal commitment to challenging biases and actively promoting gender equality in our daily lives. This can be achieved by supporting women-owned businesses, advocating for women's rights, educating oneself on gender issues, and actively promoting gender equality in everyday life.
