How to measure, in under two minutes

Measure around the fullest part of your bust (across the nipples). Wear a non-padded bra and use a soft tape — snug but not tight, lying flat without compressing the tissue.

Measure around your back and bring the tape to the front, directly under your bust. Keep it level all the way around and comfortably snug.

How a well-fitting bra should feel

The band should sit snug and level around your ribcage without riding up. The cups should fully encase the breasts with no spillage or gaps, and the straps should stay put without digging in. If you're between sizes or unsure, our Perfect Fit Finder can guide you — or contact us for personal help.

Bra fitting FAQs

How often should I measure my bra size?

Every 6–12 months. Weight changes, hormonal shifts and natural changes over time can all affect your size.

Can I measure my bra size at home accurately?

Yes. With a soft measuring tape and a non-padded bra, following the two steps above, you can get a reliable measurement at home. The demo video walks you through exactly where to place the tape.

What if my measurements fall between two sizes?

It's common. As a rule, choose the size that fits your fuller breast comfortably, and remember sister sizes — going down a band and up a cup (or vice versa) keeps a similar cup volume.

Do I need to measure my bra size differently if I've had breast surgery?

Your measurements can change after surgery, so it's worth re-measuring once you've healed and have your surgeon's go-ahead. The method is the same two steps above — but be gentle with the tape, and choose softer, wire-free styles while anything is still tender. Our bespoke service can accommodate asymmetry or specific post-surgical needs — contact us for a personal consultation.

Should I measure my bra size when pregnant or nursing?

Yes — and more often than usual. Your size can change several times through pregnancy and nursing, so re-measure every couple of months and prioritise comfort, stretch and easy access. Once things settle after nursing, take a fresh measurement for your everyday sizes.

What if I'm unsure about my measurements or bra size?

Start with the video above and re-take the two measurements — most uncertainty comes from tape placement. Still unsure? Take our Perfect Fit Finder for a fuller picture of your shape and fit preferences, or contact us and we'll help you personally.

How do I know if my bra fits correctly?

The band sits level and snug without riding up; the cups fully contain the breasts with no gaping or spilling; the centre panel sits flat against your chest; and the straps stay in place without digging in. If any of these are off, re-measure — you may be a sister size away from perfect.

What if I've been wearing the wrong bra size for years?

You're in very good company — most women are. There's no catching up to do: simply measure today, and give yourself a week or two to adjust to how a properly fitted bra feels. The right size should feel noticeably more supportive and more comfortable by the end of the day.

Is it normal for one breast to be larger?

Absolutely — most people have some asymmetry. Fit to the larger side for comfort, and if the difference is significant our bespoke service can be made to your exact shape.
